Sabrina sat mid room in her Potions class. The seating arrangement had changed so she was now sitting beside a young boy named Edward. Normally open to meeting new people Sabrina thought that this would be a good experience and was even a little happy because Edward was very cute.

However throughout the class he kept muttering beneath his breath about how wrong Slughorn was, and how arrogant the teacher was. When in fact though he may have been arrogant, was indeed correct.

"He couldn't teach if his life depended on it." Edward muttered.

"Would you shove off already?" Sabrina said exasperatedly.

"That's it Miss Holloway, two points from Ravenclaw and you can step outside. Next time learn to hold your tongue in class and maybe you'll actually learn something." Slughorn said, his arms folded as he glared down at her.

Mouth agape in shock, she could feel a crimson tint creeping onto her cheeks. Annoyed, she shoved her books into her bag and walked out of class. Walking down the hall she stopped leaning against the wall sighing, eyes closed.

"Sabrina?" she heard someone call her name.

Sitting crosslegged back in her old favourite chair Sabrina sat doodling in her journal. She really wasn't in the mood to hold a conversation through it, and in fact over the summer had grown tiresome of it. She was anxious for real conversation with people.

However most of the Ravenclaws around were still unpacking and settling in and the only other occupants of the common room at the moment were second years whom seemed to be intensely following a game of Wizard's Chess; so Sabrina continued to doodle drawing an intricate pair of drama masks. Just as she was shading in the tragedy one she heard someone coming down the stairs from the dorm rooms.

A faint smile traced upon Sabrina's lips as she starred at the Florists sign. Lily hadn't been kidding when she said her mother named the shop after her and her sister Petunia. It was so full of life that Sabrina almost felt a little jealous. It held the family warmth that her house had once contained.

Entering the store she heard a faint bell as the door swung open and shut and immediately a bouquet of yellow and red roses caught her eye. Drawn too them she leaned in sniffing their beauteous fragrance.

There are times where I can't help but think it would just be easier to be a muggle.

The day had not yet reached noon and the eldest Holloway girl stood outside a shop, in downtown London, looking through the window at the patterning of the clothes debating whether or not to go in. Already three bags in hand, she decided she wasn't fond enough of the clothing to warrent another bag.

Making her way to a small coffee shop she piled the bags on one chair and left her purse on the other. Smiling she gave her order to a short brunette on the other side of the counter. Reciving the Iced Moca she returned to her seat sipping at the foam. She pulled out a couple of the new books she had bought and smiled, she couldn't believe she actually found an 1836 copy of William Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice. Thumbing through the pages out of the corner of her eye, she saw a familiar face.

So I just got back a couple days ago from my training in Canada. 'Shakespeare School' as they call it was a phenomenal experience and I made many close relations. We even put on a production of Much Ado About Nothing; and I was cast as the evil bastard Don John.

It was sad that the girl to guy ration was a bit more, but none the less there were only two females playing male roles, I was obviously one of them.

I hope everyone's summer is going well, and I hope I'll still have the oppertunity too see some of you before the season is out.

To any of my friends: there is an open invitation to drop by any time. It's just my father and I in this house and so visitors are welcome any day any time.
